This beautiful calligraphy set is from Master Takase's personal collection and is in excellent condition. The ink stick and brush are new. The head of the stone has a beautifully carved dragon design (perfect for a Year of the Dragon gift) and is about 3 1/2" W x 5" H The ink stone is an antique and in excellent condition though it has been used. The markings one sees are of the natural stone. The ink stick and brush are new with the price stickers still on. The brush is 1200 yen and the ink 3000 yen making this a really good deal!
