For the cat lover on your list. This is a bronze cat that is about 2 1/4" long. It comes in it's own Japanese Cedar box. The box cover shown says it is a handmade bronze by artist Takashi Omori in the 1970's. This work of art is intended as a paper weight (called bunchin) in Japanese Calligraphy - though this delightful cat makes a wonderful decoration.

Accompanying the bronze cat is an original calligraphy work by Master Takase title "Cat" and includes her seal and signature.
