Body Art designs make great gifts but with body art being so personal it is not easy making a decision on what to get. To solve this we are offering a gift certificate and we would work with the recipient to complete the design.

To start we suggest coming up with a few ideas you think the recipient might like which you can enter as part of the order. Master Takase would then create some initial designs that would then be emailed to you as part of the gift certificate.

This is a completely custom design and you will be working with Master Japanese Calligrapher Eri Takase to create a Japanese calligraphy tattoo that is just for you.

Takase Studios has both native English and native Japanese speaking translators so you know the translation will be absolutely correct. Further we provide you with dictionary references and work with you until you are completely comfortable with the design.

Along with the translation we work with you on the font and layout. We do this by emailing you samples that are hand-lettered by Master Takase. We then discuss and modify the design as needed. In this manner you will have input into each step and is how we will work together to create a Japanese calligraphy tattoo that is just for you.

For delivery of the final design, you have several options: To receive the design immediately order PDF Only (emailed) and a PDF image of the design will be emailed to you as soon as it is completed. The advantage to the PDF design is not only speed but we also include the line art (stencil) for free. Another option is Original Only (mailed) where we mail you the original design on flat, white, acid-free paper. Finally you can get the advantages of both by ordering PDF and Original.
